Ubud, our main base, sits in the heart of it all, inland but close enough to the coast, its the cultural soul of Bali with art markets, monkey forests, yoga everywhere, and a vibe that's calm yet alive. The weather's best in dry season, May to October, sunny days perfect for outdoor relaxation, not too rainy, humidity manageable, its heaven for anyone needing to unplug and breathe.

We start with pickup at Denpasar airport, easy drive up to our villa nestled near Ubud, overlooking emerald rice terraces. Day one is soft arrival: settle into your room with balcony views, maybe dip in the infinity pool, light welcome dinner with fresh tropical fruits and Balinese spices.
Mornings are slow and blissful, optional gentle pilates on an open deck by the ocean breeze (we do short drives to nearby beaches for that salty air feel), or just coffee and journaling while watching mist lift off the fields. Afternoons often feature mindful walks through the famous rice terraces, like Tegallalang or nearby paths, barefoot if you want, feeling the earth, stopping to chat with local farmers or just sit quietly.
